The July 20, 2016 demonstration at Frank McDonald's farm was well attended. There were about 80 there. The pyrolysis unit will convert 2 tons of warm season grass to a liquid fuel per 24 hour day. 40% of what goes in comes out as a liquid. The output is not quite a "drop in" fuel as it contains too much oxygen. They are working on this. In addition to the pyrolysis unit they also demonstrated a GEK 20kw gasifier. It was not running on warm season grass but rather wood chips. I took a number of pictures. They are displayed below. Frank has a great set up and was a very gracious host.
